Sandbäckens significantly strengthens its presence in electricity

Sandbäckens acquires three electricity companies EVIAB Gruppen AB, Växjö Elmontage AB and El & Projektering Vetlanda AB, controlled by Storskogen Group AB. The companies have a combined turnover of approximately SEK 400 million and have approximately 180 employees.

Sandbäckens Group is the Swedish operation and part of the Nordic installation group Nimlas, which in a few years has grown from approximately SEK 1.5 billion to just over 7 billion in turnover. KLAR Partners is the majority shareholder in Nimlas.

– The acquisition is an important step on Nimlas journey towards becoming a multidisciplinary installation group in the Nordics. With Sandbäckens acquisition in electricity, we now have a significant operation in the electricity segment in all our markets, says Mikael Matts, CEO and CEO of Nimlas Group.

The acquisition is in line with Sandbäckens 5-50-500 strategy: SEK 5 billion in turnover, 50 new companies and 500 million in profit. Sandbäckens plans to grow strongly in the electricity segment in the coming years with the goal of SEK 1 billion in turnover.
