Anna Simula appointed as QMG's Communications and Marketing Manager

QMG strengthens its external and internal communications by appointing Anna Simula as Communications and Marketing Manager as of 1 April 2024. This appointment continues the strengthening of QMG’s corporate functions.

Anna Simula, who joins QMG from Coor, has worked in communications, marketing and business development also at Skanska in Finland and internationally. She holds a Master's degree in Economics.

– Installations and technical property services play an important role in reducing the climate impact of buildings. As a fast-growing company, QMG offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to this goal. I look forward to supporting the group's strategy and strengthening the Nimlas brand with internal and external communications, bringing in my experience in project and service businesses, says Anna Simula.

Supporting Nordic and local business image

Both QMG and the other Nimlas companies in Sweden and Norway operate under a decentralised structure. This means that the local subsidiaries have their own identities and a lot of decision-making power in their own business.

– As QMG grows, it is essential to ensure that we can effectively share knowledge and lessons learned and ensure a common direction in line with our strategy – while ensuring the independence of local companies. My next steps will be to familiarise myself with the companies and their communication needs, and to get to know my Nordic colleagues in Sweden and Norway to utilise synergies, says Anna Simula.

– I have spent the last ten years working in Nordic listed companies, so QMG has both a familiar Nordic feel and an exciting new aspect due to its structure of local brands, Simula continues.

Communication as part of the growth strategy

The appointment of Anna Simula continues the strengthening of QMG's corporate functions. Earlier appointments included Vesa Vuopio as Director of Sustainability and Procurement as of 15 January 2024 and Kirsi Aropaltio as HR Director as of 14 February 2024.

– Strengthening the group's activities in terms of strategic priorities is an important step for QMG. Communication and marketing will support our visibility and internal corporate image, which is of vital importance as the Group grows. Anna is an energetic team player with whom it will be easy to take QMG forward on its growth path, says Tiina Koppinen, CEO of QMG.
