QMG sets new growth targets – more international talent to join the management team
QMG continues to grow in all areas of installations and technical property services, and particularly in service business and in projects related to green transition. To support the growth plan, QMG's organisation and management team has been revised on 15 March 2024.
QMG has quadrupled its sales since 2015. In 2023, the pro forma sales was approximately EUR 270 million and QMG has 45 subsidiaries in Finland. It will continue with its entrepreneur-driven operating model, which has been a firm basis for growth.
– In the future, our aim is to share good practices more effectively and make things even more efficient. We also want to competitively combine QMG’s services for new and existing clients into larger packages where appropriate. As a result, we are changing QMG's organisation to support these priorities, says CEO Tiina Koppinen.
– The service business will be merged into one area, and Pekka Pöykkö will take responsibility for it. The single-region model will help us to gain a better overall view, optimise growth opportunities throughout Finland and build a service model that also meets the needs of larger, multi-location customers, Tiina Koppinen continues.
– What matters in projects is consistent performance and risk management throughout the lifecycle, from tender to delivery. There will be two regions for projects: eastern and northern Finland, under the responsibility of Mikko Sahikallio, and southern and western Finland, under the responsibility of Kimmo Lehtonen. Combining the hospital expertise of the South and West will create even better synergies and growth opportunities for us, says Koppinen.
Following the organisational change, the composition of the management team is:
- Tiina Koppinen, CEO
- Tuula Haataja, Director of Finance and Economic
Affairs
- Vesa Vuopio, Director of Sustainability and
Procurement
- Kirsi Aropaltio, HR Director
- Pekka Pöykkö, Business Director, Services
- Kimmo Lehtonen, Business Director, Projects, S&W
Finland (also Managing Director of Quattroservices Oy)
- Mikko Sahikallio, Business Director, Projects, E&N
Finland (also Managing Director of Mikenti Oy)
As a result of the change, two members will leave the management team. Heikki Kiiskilä
will be responsible for the service business in Northern Finland and will
report to Pekka Pöykkö, and Johan Löfgren will continue to be responsible for
Western Finland reporting to Kimmo Lehtonen.
Through
organisational changes, we aim to further improve QMG's competitiveness and
service. The changes will have no impact on personnel.
