Sandbäckens investment in electricity continues with a new business area

With the recent acquisitions of EVIAB Gruppen AB in Örebro, Växjö Elmontage AB, El & Projektering Vetlanda AB and City Eltjänst AB in Södertälje, Sandbäckens operations are expanding with a new business area for the electricity segment.

The business area will be led by Lars Larsen, currently CEO of the EVIAB group. Lars will also be part of Sandbäckens group management.

– I look forward to growing together with Sandbäckens and establishing the electricity segment in the group. The electrical business is an important part of developing Sandbäckens into a multidisciplinary installation group, says Lars Larsen, newly appointed Business Area Manager Electricity.

The new business area will focus on continuing the expansion and taking the electricity segment to at least SEK 1 billion in turnover. The investment in electricity is in line with Sandbäckens 5-50-500 strategy: SEK 5 billion in turnover, 50 new companies and SEK 500 million in profit.

– I welcome Lars in the role of Business Area Manager for our electrical operations. The expansion with another business area shows Sandbäckens ambition to grow strongly in electricity in the coming years, says Christoffer Järkeborn, CEO Sandbäckens and Vice President Nimlas Group.
